Road to Tsorku Peak

We are a group of students from the National University of Singapore. Together we set out to conquer Tsorku peak in Langtang Valley (5749m), situated just behind Yala peak. It was a long trek for Syrubrubesi towards Langtang, then Kyanjin Gompa. From then on, it was setting base camp and waiting for the summit push. Summit push was a great challenge on its own. It took our team 20 hours to get up and down Tsorku. The glaciers were a challenging terrain for us first-timers in the Himalayas. It was surreal to be able to see Xixiabangma and Langtang Lirung on the other side, both towering landmarks in the distance.
