KASAULI RHYTHM & BLUES MUSIC FESTIVAL- 30th to 31st March 2018

 

Spread amongst the pristine of Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh- Kasauli Rhythm and Blues Festival gathers umpteen music lovers at one place- Baikunth Resort. Kasauli Music Festival is the flagship annual Music event which is organized at Baikunth Resort. This Festival got its evolution by Genisis Foundation in the year 2012 with the aim of supporting its community donors grow.

This Festival believes in music having an eternal power in healing and serves towards the treatment of critically ill and underprivileged children suffering from the heart diseases. The children’s whose family income is  Rs 10,000 per month are supported by Genisis Foundation. Artists perform for this noble cause and help to save the little hearts. The festival has delivered some of the most exceptional live performances – from the mesmerizing Usha Uthup, Shilpa Rao, Leslie Lewis, Rabbi Shergill to mesmerizing Sonam Kalra and Kutle Khan Sufi Collective amongst others in the past.

The advent of Genisis Foundation was such, that it got commenced after its Founders Prema and Jyoti Sagar lost their child to Heart Disorder – Samir, who was born on December 20, 1983. It took them enormous time to recover. This brought in the urge in them to serve the society and they happened to start working at Missionaries of Charity. This brought in a new beginning to their lives and made them more inclined towards saving those little hearts and this is how their journey started and thus they felt they could reach out and assist in the best way possible – enriching the lives of others and their own. 2018 Kasauli Rhythm and Blues mark the 7th edition of such great cause.
