A  6.9 magnitude earthquake jolted in Nyingchi city and surrounding areas of Tibet with no casualties reported but the earthquake has caused damage to properties, roads of the region with a power failure in villages of the region. Four minor aftershocks measuring between 5 and 3.1 on the Richter scale were reported from the city’s rural areas.
