Celebrate ‘Nothingness’ in the Himalayas with Shoonya Festival
Project Shoonya has announced the dates for Shoonya 2.0 to be held from June 21-23, 2019 in Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh. The first edition of this festival happened in June 2018 which brought 80+ seekers from different walks of life to experience this soulful festival.
Unlike other art and music festivals happening in the Himalayas, it is a one-of-its-kind festival that celebrates ‘nothingness’. The 3-day festival has 20+ activities around mindfulness and building human connections with impressive musical line-ups. The festival will take place in MudHouse Experiential Hostel in Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh. Jibhi is a beautiful unexplored small hamlet in the Banjar valley. Surrounded by pine, deodar and cedar trees with traditional houses built using stone, mud, and wood, this hamlet serves as a perfect destination for this soulful experience. The festival offers different stay options starting from Quechua camps to private rooms.
The festival will have immersive experiences, creative workshops and engaging activities such as Mandala making, Block Printing, Essential Oils Making, Concrete Jewelry, Drum Circle, Yoga, Meditation, Zumba, Upcycling waste, Self-exploration activities, Sharing Circle, Letter Earthlings, Nature Walks, Storytelling, Poetry recitals, EDM, and more.
The curators of this festival endeavors to make this a zero-waste festival by using proper waste management techniques using upcycling methods.
Shoonya festival is for everyone who would like to go on a self-exploration journey and share a passion to know oneself. Ready to experience Shoonya?
